ICAUCUS ENDORSED CANDIDATES NEED YOUR HELP NOW

Icaucus is conducting a virtual fundraiser for all endorsed candidates.  All our candidates are fiscal conservatives that passed our rigorous vetting process. If we truly want to take back the house in November, we all have to pitch in and help these guys get elected, not just with us being volunteers, but we need to fill their coffers.

Therefore I am posting this link for you to download and look over the icaucus candidate guide:
http://www.icaucus.org/media/2010Catalog/index.html

Our Icaucus candidate video. Please note, just a few of our candidates are on this video, for now.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SWId1osxoXQ

And finally, here is our request to donate to Icaucus.  All monies will be evenly divided between the candidates.  Remember, we are a non-profit, it's  strictly volunteer driven.  Please contribute any amount, whatever you can afford. Then please pass on this link or blog to all your friends and families.

Thank you.

THE ECONOMICS OF MASS DESTRUCTION

While so many of us are currently involved in one or multiple campaigns, it is easy to lose sight of what is happening around us, or I should say, how the economy is continuing to crumble around us.  As I was just tweeting for my candidate, Rocky Raczkowski, http://www.rockyworksforus.com/, I came across this article worth reading.  It talks about how bad things are:

The Fallout of Economic Conformity

The logical conclusion of these failed policies is economic stagnation. Here is what massive government spending and taxation has done to our economy:

1.Total government (federal, state, and local) share of the economy has exceeded the tipping point, estimated to be between 15% and 20%, which is the point when it hinders economic growth. Presently total government spending for 2010 is estimated to be about 47% of the economy.

2.Taxation must rise substantially in order to pay for government debt, health and welfare entitlements, and other fixed government costs. The 2010 estimate of federal, state, and local taxes amount to about 30.4% of GDP (about $4.480 trillion).

3.Our total government debt (federal, state, and local) is estimated to be $16.635 trillion for 2010, approximately at 114% of our GDP (2010 E$14.623 trillion). Of total government debt, federal debt is estimated to be $13.787 trillion in 2010.

Will a house full of new congressmen change this situation?  I do not think that even if we take control of the house and senate we will see an immediate change.  I would like to hear your opinion.

IT'S NOT SOROS - IT'S MAURICE STRONG

Glenn Beck: Meet Maurice Strong

By Judi McLeod Thursday, May 13, 2010

Great job on shining the FOX flashlight on man-behind-the-curtain Maurice Strong last night.

You asked for people to send you information on Strong.

While the entire cable network world, thanks largely to The One Thing, now knows that Strong is on the Chicago Carbon Credit Exchange board of directors, it gets worse, much worse.

It’s true that Strong explained that he had only fantasized the end of the world in his now famous interview with a Canadian reporter. Unfortunately for the free world, the fantasy is Strong’s philosophy.

As recently as 2006, speaking from an air conditioned boardroom somewhere in Communist China, Maurice Strong—the same man who would deny air conditioning for you to save the environment—was hatching his latest anti-American initiative.

“Having cashed in his Kyoto credits and having launched his ManyOne Internet project from afar, Strong is back on the international scene, ready or not. With his latest comeback, the elusive Strong is stepping back into the limelight after his alleged links to the UN Oil-forFood scandal took him off the radar screen for more than a year. This comeback sees Strong teaming up in the biz world with George Soros. The deadly duo aims to flood the American market with cheap Chinese-made cars. (Strong & Soros in Business: A Partnership from Hell, CFP, June 15, 2006).

“Strong’s public predictions that China would replace the United States, as world superpower is not happening fast enough. So Strong and President George W. Bush malcontent George Soros are contemplating pouring hundreds of millions into a Communist China automaker that manufactures the “Chery”.”

So Strong and Soros were working on anti-American schemes as far back as 2006.

They had hoped to decimate Ford, Chrysler and GM by flooding the U.S. market with cheapo Cherys on a 2007 deadline.

Well, we now know what happened to the American auto industry in 2009.

But it doesn’t even begin or stop there.

Maurice Strong has almost as much impact on average Americans as the air that they breathe.

All that President Barack Obama is doing to transform America and the Free World over to One World Government begins and ends with one Maurice Strong. Soros is merely the financier.

Here, in his own words, is what Strong wants for the middle class: “It is clear that current lifestyles and consumption patterns of the affluent middle class—involving high meat intake, consumption of large amounts of frozen and convenience foods, use of fossil fuels, appliances, home and work-place air-conditioning, and suburban housing—are not sustainable. A shift is necessary towards lifestyles less geared to environmentally damaging consumption patterns.” (1992 Rio Earth Summit 11).

Strong’s portrayal as a Wizard Oz in a fog of ether was helped along by Canada’s state-owned, liberal and largest television network, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC)l

The CBC 2004 special, The Life and Times of Maurice Strong, features a visit by Strong to former Soviet leader, Mikhail Gorbachev who gives Strong a CBC-described “glass saber full of the same brandy Stalin used to send Winston Churchill every week.”

It was in an admiring way that CBC reporter Ann-Marie MacDonald described Strong as a sort of “cross between Rasputin and Machiavelli.”

You could say that it’s downright Machiavellian how Strong and Gorbachev consorted back in 1997 to replace the Ten Commandments with the UN Earth Charter.

Although it defies belief, their jointly authored Earth Charter is carried around in a wooden chest called the Ark of Hope.

The Ark of Hope is described as a “magnificent large sycamore chest, which was conceived as a visual message of peace, sustainability and concern for the Earth.”

Gilt-covered and lavish in the looks department, the chest carries Temenos Earth masks. The 96” poles of the 200-lb. chest are “unicorn horns which render evil ineffective”.

The Ark carries Gorby’s and Strong’s Earth Charter, an international peoples‘ treaty, need of which was foreseen and initiated at the Strong-led Rio Earth Summit in 1992. At last count, the Ark was being carried into New York classrooms.

Now you know, Glenn why Strong is too busy to write novels. Besides, it must be so much more fun rewriting history.

Lest you think CFP is pulling your leg, this is what Gorbachev has to say about the Earth Charter: “The Ten Commandments are out of date. They will be replaced by the 18 principles of the Earth Charter.”

It is CFP’s belief that the way for The Messiah was cleared for Barack Obama by Maurice Strong and that Louis Farrakhan was right on the money when he said “before he was elected, he (Obama) was selected”.

So how does Maurice Strong get away with it?

By relying on the media-hyped conspiracy theory charges. You know, those rednecks still waiting for the black helicopters.

Meanwhile, when Glenn pulled the curtain back on International Man of Mystery Maurice Strong last night, he hit the motherlode.

WE CAN HELP STOP KAGAN'S NOMINATION

A message from the  FLORIDA 9/12 PROJECT

We CAN Help Stop Kagan's Nomination!!

Call to Action...

As obama sends another future Socialist justice nominee (Kagan) to Capital Hill today, we must use what we can to stop or stall the process. The media will tell you that the Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee are out numbered 12 to 7 and are powerless to stop this nomination. THIS IS NOT TRUE!!!

The Republican members of the committee CAN stop it by using the rules of the committee as established to protect against Republicans (when they were in the majority) from pushing through radical right-wing judge appointees.

For any judge/justice nominee to be moved out of the Senate Judiciary Committee to the full Senate, at least ONE member of the minority party on the committee must vote in the affirmative. We need to have ALL Patriots apply pressure to these seven Senators to stop this totally unqualified nominee from getting a seat on our Highest Court.

We must contact these 7 PUBLIC SERVANTS and let them know that We The People know the rules and will not let them skate on their responsibility to protect and defend our Constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic.

INTERESTING RACES IN THE CAROLINAS

For anyone interested in current events and politics, the races in North and South Carolina are worth watching. There is South Carolina's Alvin Green vs Vic Rawl. Here is an excerpt from Ann Coulter's recent article on this race:

Democrats have decided that Alvin Greene's surprise victory in the South Carolina Democratic senatorial primary must be the result of a Republican dirty trick.

Greene beat Vic Rawl, a former state representative and judge, with a whopping 60 percent of the vote in last Tuesday's primary, despite Greene's having no job, no house, no campaign website, no campaign headquarters -- indeed, no campaign. Other than paying the $10,000 filing fee, Greene seems to have put no effort into the race whatsoever. Continue reading here: http://tinyurl.com/2db3qsy
I agree with Ann Coulter, this race is hilarious and it would be a miracle if Greene could beat Jim DeMint. But this will never happen.

Then there is North Carolina. Politics as usual between Bernie Reeves and Bill Randall. Randall, a US Navy veteran and a teaparty candidate, endorsed by Icaucus which means he has proven to be a fiscally conservative constitutional candidate is being hammered by Reeves and his handlers. Bernie Reeves, a former democrat, got into the habit of paying himself a salary from his campaign fund. That is a no-no under the FEC campaign finance laws. Carter Wrenn, Reeves' campaign manager has a long history of campaign violations and race baiting. The local media is currently looking into Reeves' campaign finance. From what I see he is not an honorable man and I wish Bill Randall best of luck in his pursuit.

CARLY FIORINA IS NOT CONSERVATIVE

From the I-Caucus opposition research team:

Carly Fiorina’s ad characterizing Tom Campbell as a wolf in sheep’s clothing has, with the findings of recent days, become the epitome of hypocrisy. Mrs. Fiorina’s ties to the deep left and her position on boards of international organizations promoting ‘global governance’ provide lots of hard evidence that she is in fact that 'demon wolf'. As an example, Carly Fiorina is on the board of the Vital Voices Global Partnership, a very left-wing organization.
According to http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/funderProfile.asp?fndid=5282 “Among the many leftist organizations funded by the Arca Foundation are…. Vital Voices Global Partnership” Also listed are The Tides Foundation and ACORN. She is also a board member of the World Economic Forum ( Soros, Andy Stern and Van Jones are contributors to those organizations) and has given talks in that forum pushing ‘social and economic progress’. However, the blatant hypocrisy pales in comparison to the cloaked left-http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.discoverthenetworks.org%2FfunderProfile.asp%3Ffndid%3D5282&h=0afb3

REPUPLICAN CANDIDATES RAISING MORE IN SMALL DONATIONS

I was happy to read this article in the Washington Post today because it is mentioning the candidate that I am supporting, Rocky Raczkowski.  But I was also happy to read this, because it is confirming that the number of Tea Party people is still growing.  It was the little guy that helped Obama win his election with small amounts, now it will be the little guy that will help our candidates for the November election.  The more they are ignoring us in Washington, the more little guys will come out of the woodwork and send in small donations, this time to GOP or tea party candidates
.
Here are some excerpts from the Washington Post article and what Rocky Raczkowski had to say:

In suburban Detroit, for example, 70 percent of the $450,000 raised by Republican House candidate Rocky Raczkowski has come in checks of less than $200.

"We have our own MoveOn dot Rocky," said Raczkowski, who is competing in the GOP primary and hopes to face freshman Democratic Rep. Gary Peters. "These aren't rich people, they are just committed -- and angry."

Raczkowski says auto-industry layoffs in his district have prompted people to do something about politics but denied them the ability to give much money. So they are supporting his campaign platform of small government by giving small bills.

"It's overwhelming," Raczkowski said, recalling a grandmother from Waterford, Mich., who wrote him a check for $5 after he answered her question at a gathering of local "tea party" supporters. "She said, 'I wish I could put more zeros after that, but I'm living on a fixed income.' "

Feel free to read the entire article here: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/05/27/AR2010052701008.html You may have to register to be able to read all of it.

Please note also, that Rocky is a people vetted and people endorsed candidate through the Independence Caucus, http://www.icaucus.org/ You can visit Rocky's website at http://www.rockyworksforus.com/ and offer your help or donate.

LITTLE TIDBITS ABOUT CARLY FIORINA YOU SHOULD KNOW

Some people tend to believe what the MSM wants them to believe, others have a tendendy to find things out for themselves.  As a member and delegate for the  Independence Caucus, http://www.icaucus.org/, I like to take advantage of their research team and find out the real scoop about current candidates and incumbents. Fiorina currently holds board of trustee positions at the World Economic Forum, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company and MIT. She also is director at Revolution Health Group and part of the board for Cybertrust
With the early primary approaching in California, people are now watching the race between Fiorina and DeVore.  It  goes without saying that I will support DeVore. He is icaucus endorsed and whatever the far left wants to pin on him is nothing more than typical left behavior.  It is interesting to watch the race between him and Fiorina.  She received the endorsement from Sarah Palin, which really surprised me.  I am a Palin fan, but think this time she didn't do her homework.

Here are some things I recently found on our research team's site:

Fiorina’s interest in the democratic process is apparently newfound.

She has voted in only one out of every four national, state and local elections since registering to vote in 2000 in Santa Clara County.
Fiorina neglected to vote in two presidential primaries, a gubernatorial election, the 2003 recall of Governor Gray Davis and the last election for U.S. Senate.

She is a member of the World Economic Forum. http://www.weforum.org/ . and the Schwab Foundation.  The World Economic Forum believes that the voice of Labour is important to dynamic dialogue on issues of globalisation, economic justice, transparency and accountability, and ensuring a healthy global financial system. The Forum engages regularly with the Labour Leaders Community, comprised of heads of leading global, regional, national, and industry-specific labour and trade unions around the world. To name some other prominent members of this association and people she associates with are: John Kerry, Al Gore, Valerie Jarett, George Soros, Van Jones and Andy Stern, to name just a few.

Fiorina currently holds board of trustee positions at the World Economic Forum, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company and MIT. She also is director at Revolution Health Group and part of the board for Cybertrust.

I am just a simple homemaker, but it seems to me that belonging to these of kind of organizations does not represent a commonsense constitutional conservative such as we find in Chuck DeVore. Is she a RINO at best?

Please check back here often as I will post more information on Carly Fiorina.

SOCIAL JUSTICE

What exactly is social justice? At first sound, it could mean many things.  Social, I consider myself to be social, but haven't really equated that word to "class" or "class of people".  Justice, in my mind has to do with the law or being fair.  But that is not what it really means. American Thinker did a great blog on that.

The term "social justice" is now commonly used by leftist activists, clergy, educators, judges, and politicians to describe the goal they seek to achieve with many of their policies. No precise definition of "social justice" is ever offered by the left. Instead, the term is always used in a vague way -- as if everyone already knows, or should know, what the seemingly well-intentioned phrase "social justice" means.

So, what exactly is "social justice?"

Social justice is the complete economic equality of all members of society. While this may sound like a lofty objective, what it really means is that wealth should be collected by the government and evenly distributed to everyone. In short, social justice is communism. It is rooted in the Marxist idea that the money people make, and the property they own, do not rightfully belong to the people who make the money and own the property.http://tinyurl.com/2b9mwsx
