WHO IS VALERIE JARRET?

Just as I  am reading about her in "The Amateur", I receive this email which highlights some of her relationship and influence with Obama and Michelle.  There is much more to her than the following articles describes, so I highly recommend reading the book.  It is an eye opener.

This was posted in Conservative to Conservative - very informative information about Valerie Jarrett - Obama's right hand person.  Obama said to judge him by the company he keeps - Valerie is another close associate who is a Communist.  It cannot be blind luck that so many of his people are Communists.  No one could have that much bad luck.  He knows who these people are and he has let them in to the very heart of our government.  Cathy Who Is Valerie Jarrett? He gives a lengthy list of failures he chooses to lay at her feet- wander over if you care to read- but seems stumped by Obama and his wife being joined at the hip with her. So I will try to help out. The title of his piece is very original “Who is Valerie Jarrett”? My regulars know I just could not let a good Valerie story pass by me. Chicago communist journalist Frank Marshall Davis was a national sponsor of American Youth for Democracy, as well as being a Progressive Party supporter. Both Davis and Jarrett worked on the radical Chicago Defender newspaper and in 1948, both served on the publicity committee of the Citizens’ Committee to Aid Packing-House Workers Later that year, Frank Marshall Davis moved to Hawaii, where he met and mentored a young boy named Barack Obama. Vernon Jarrett stayed in Chicago, where he became a prominent columnist. Coincidentally he used this column in 2004 to urge black voters to vote in the 2004 Senate primaries for Barack Obama.

WHERE HAVE ALL THE LEADERS GONE?

He was, and still is, a brilliant businessman!

Often we need to be reminded of Iacocca's words.

Remember Lee Iacocca, the man who rescued Chrysler Corporation from its death throes? He's now 82 years old and has a new book, ...'Where Have All The Leaders Gone?'.

'Am I the only guy in this country who's fed up with what's happening? Where the hell is our outrage with this so called president? We should be screaming bloody murder! We've got a gang of tax cheating clueless leftists trying to steer our ship of state right over a cliff, we've got corporate gangsters stealing us blind, and we can't even run a ridiculous cash-for-clunkers program without losing $26 billion of the taxpayers' money, much less build a hybrid car. You might think I'm getting senile, that I've gone off my rocker, and maybe I have. But someone has to speak up. I hardly recognize this country anymore..

The most famous business leaders are not the innovators but the guys in handcuffs.. While we're fiddling in Afghanistan , Iran is completing their nuclear bombs and missiles and nobody seems to know what to do. And the liberal press is waving 'pom-poms' instead of asking hard questions. That's not the promise of the ' America ' my parents and yours traveled across the ocean for. I've had enough. How about you?

I'll go a step further. You can't call yourself a patriot if you're not outraged. This is a fight I'm ready and willing to have. The Biggest 'C' is Crisis! (Iacocca elaborates on nine C's of leadership, with crisis being the first.)

Leaders are made, not born. Leadership is forged in times of crisis. It's easy to sit there with thumb up your butt and talk theory. Or send someone else's kids off to war when you've never seen a battlefield yourself. It's another thing to lead when your world comes tumbling down.

On September 11, 2001, we needed a strong leader more than any other time in our history. We needed a steady hand to guide us out of the ashes. A hell of a mess, so here's where we stand.

We're immersed in a bloody war now with no plan for winning and no plan for leaving.. But our soldiers are dying daily.

We're running the biggest deficit in the history of the world, and it's getting worse every day!

We've lost the manufacturing edge to Asia , while our once-great companies are getting slaughtered by health care costs.

Gas prices are going to skyrock again, and nobody in power has a lucid plan to open drilling to solve the problem. This country has the largest oil reserves in the WORLD, and we cannot drill for it because the politicians have been bought by the flea-hugging environmentalists.

Our schools are in a complete disaster because of the teachers' union.

Our borders are like sieves and they want to give all illegal's amnesty and free healthcare.

The middle class is being squeezed to death every day.

These are times that cry out for leadership.

But when you look around, you've got to ask: 'Where have all the leaders gone?' Where are the curious, creative communicators? Where are the people of character, courage, conviction, omnipotence, and common sense? I may be a sucker for alliteration, but I think you get the point..

Name me a leader who has a better idea for homeland security than making us take off our shoes in airports and throw away our shampoo?

We've spent billions of dollars building a huge new bureaucracy, and all we know how to do is react to things that have already happened.

Everyone's hunkering down, fingers crossed, hoping the government will make it better for them. Now, that's just crazy.. Deal with life.

Name me an industry leader who is thinking creatively about how we can restore our competitive edge in manufacturing. Who would have believed that there could ever be a time when 'The Big Three' referred to Japanese car companies? How did this happen, and more important, look what Obama did about it!

Name me a government leader who can articulate a plan for paying down the debt, or solving the energy crisis, or managing the health care problem. The silence is deafening. But these are the crises that are eating away at our country and milking the middle class dry.

I have news for the Chicago gangsters in Congress. We didn't elect you to turn this country into a losing European Socialist state. What is everybody so afraid of? That some bonehead on NBC or CNN news will call them a name? Give me a break. Why don't you guys show some spine for a change?

Had Enough? Hey, I'm not trying to be the voice of gloom and doom here. I'm trying to light a fire. I'm speaking out because I have hope - I believe in America .. In my lifetime, I've had the privilege of living through some of America 's greatest moments. I've also experienced some of our worst crises: The 'Great Depression,' 'World War II,' the 'Korean War,' the 'Kennedy Assassination,' the 'Vietnam War,' the 1970's oil crisis, and the struggles of recent years since 9/11.

6.) My Name is African Swahili - NOT EXACTLY, your name is Arabic and 'Baraka' (from which Barack came) means 'blessed' in that language. Hussein is also Arabic and so is Obama.

Barack Hussein Obama is not half black. He is the first Arab-American President, not the first black President. Barack Hussein Obama is 50% Caucasian from his mother's side and 43.75% Arabic and 6.25% African Negro from his father's side. While Barack Hussein Obama's father was from Kenya, his father's family was mainly Arabs.. THE NICE ROMNEY THAT NO ONE TALKS ABOUT

Let me tell you about the Mitt Romney I know! The father of my friend who has set such a great example for me as I entered into my adult life. Let me tell you why I know he will do everything he says he will do........

One... cold December day in the early 1980s, Mitt Romney loaded up his Gran Torino with firewood and brought it to the home of a single mother whose heat had been shut off just days before Christmas.

Years after a business partner died unexpectedly, Romney helped the man’s surviving daughter go to medical school with loans for tuition — loans he forgave when she graduated.

And in 1997, when a fellow church member’s teenage son fell seriously ill, Romney sprinted to the hospital in the dead of night, where he kept vigil with his terrified parents.

Stories like these — tales of long hours spent with grieving families, financial assistance to those in need and timely help given to strangers whether asked for or not — abound in the adult life of this Republican presidential candidate.

And yet these stories are largely absent on the campaign trail. And it is these very stories that give me such a certainty that Mitt Romney will do everything he says he will because in private ...... He is so much greater then the Public figure. he is selfless and hard working and....... He is Humble. These stories are absent because it is not in him to toot his own horn. These are things he would never have considered doing differently.

A GAY'S RESPONSE TO OBAMA'S GAY MARRIAGE EVOLUTION

An open letter to the POTUS:

Thank you President Obama for, once again, dragging gay people into the middle of a Presidential Election. We free thinking gay people thank you sooo much for making our lives a part of such a cheap tactic, for throwing us out into the street to get run over by a bus, just so your little Hollywood friends would kick in some cash at George Clooney’s house. Now, you are snickering there in the White House because you know that Governor Romney has now been forced to speak on the subject. And you think that all gay people are going to just follow you now?? 

Well, I just thought that I would let you know what is going on in this gay household in Florida, where this is a constitutional ban on “gay marriage”. 

My life partner and I woke up this morning in OUR home. 
We fed, walked, and loved OUR dogs.
We checked the balance of OUR joint checking account.
We discussed the progress of the ongoing remodeling of OUR condo (yes, we both own it legally) so that it can be rented out soon.
We talked about how much we enjoyed the cruise to the Bahamas that we took last month in honor of OUR TENTH ANNIVERSARY. And we talked about how wonderful it was that my Mother, Sister, Brother and his wife, and several nephews and nieces (all active members of The Mormon Church, and all residents of Utah) all joined us to celebrate.
We talked about having to take my “commitment ring” in to have it resized since I have put on some weight from eating my partner’s wonderful cooking. (Yes, we have matching gold bands).
We talked about contacting OUR attorney to update some information in OUR wills regarding OUR inheritance, OUR mutual property ownership, and OUR mutual healthcare decision-making rights.
All in all, WE sat around, enjoying the another day that WE have, by OUR own choice, together. 
All of this, we did without any say so from you, your party, or from your opposition. All of this we did, without the State of Florida granting us permission to do. You know why? Because it is not needed!!!!!! 

However, I will point out some things in OUR lives that YOUR policies have affected. 

OUR 401K is nowhere near where it should be. 
We worry about the values of OUR property. 
We worry about the futures of OUR nephews and nieces. 
And we worry about why it is that you are worried about something that is obviously B.S. instead of things that are a reality (such as jobs and the economy). 

You argue that the economy is coming back slowly. Well, perhaps it would come back faster if you did not spend your time thinking about underhanded ways to getting votes. 

Now, of course, we did not actually discuss all of these things this morning. But, that is just the point. We really could have, if we had chosen to do so, without even a whisper from the Federal Government or from the State of Florida.

NEW PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE, by a 15 year old

Since the Pledge of Allegiance  and  The Lord's Prayer  are not allowed in most  public schools anymore  because the word 'God' is mentioned.....  

 A kid in   Arizona   wrote the attached  
NEW School prayer:  
  
"New Pledge of Allegiance"

Now I sit me down in school  
Where praying is against the rule  
For this great nation under God  
Finds mention of Him very odd.  
If scripture now the class recites,  
It violates the Bill of Rights.

That's no offense; it's a freedom scene..  
The law is specific, the law is precise.  
Prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice.

We're allowed to cuss and dress like freaks,

They've outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible.

We can elect a pregnant Senior Queen,  
And the 'unwed daddy,' our Senior King.  
It's 'inappropriate' to teach right from wrong,  
We're taught that such 'judgments' do not belong..  
We can get our condoms and birth controls,  
Study witchcraft, vampires and totem poles..  
But the Ten Commandments are not allowed,
No word of God must reach this crowd.  
It's scary here I must confess,  
When chaos reigns the school's a mess.  
So, Lord, this silent plea I make:  
Should I be shot; My soul please take!  
Amen

This 15 year old kid got an A+ for this paper
