Some people claim this video is repeatedly pulled off the net.  Obviously whoever does this is aware that his could be damaging.

The author of this letter had to get it off his chest.  There are so many of us that can relate to his feeling, that's why I posted it here.

Dear Ms. Pelosi:

I write to you out of utter disdain! You are as despicable and un-American as the traitor Jane Fonda.

I am a soon to be 65 year-old who has voted in every state and local election since 1966. I have voted for both Republicans and Democrats alike. I have worked on campaigns for both Republicans and Democrats, white and black. I served the country that I love in Vietnam , as my son did in the Middle East . I was awarded two bronze stars. I have been involved in politics since age 6 when my father was campaign manager for a truly great American Congressman, Charles Raper Jonas, who worked for his constituents and his country, and was to be admired, unlike you.

You obviously haven’t read the Constitution recently, if ever, the Federalist Papers, or even David McCullough’s book on John Adams. You ought to take the time while riding around in your government provided luxury executive jet to do just that. You represent Socialistic and even Marxist principals that our founding fathers tried to avoid when setting out the capitalistic republican form of government represented by our Constitution.

I find it interesting that you and your husband are multi-millionaires with much of your fortune being made as a result of your “public service”. You have controlled legislation that has enhanced your husband’s investments both on and off shore. At the same time you redistributed the wealth of others. Our system of a free market economy is being destroyed by the likes of you, Harry Reid, and now our President. You ride around in a Gulfstream airplane at the tax payer’s expense while criticizing the presidents of companies who produced something for the economy. You add nothing to the economy of the United States ; you only subtract therefrom.

I would like to suggest that you return to the city of fruitcakes and nuts and eat your husband’s canned tuna and pineapple produced by illegal immigrants and by workers who have been excluded from the protection that 90% of the legal workers in the United States have.

I await your defeat in the next election with glee.

Don’t ever use the term “un-American” again for protesters who love this country and are exercising their rights upon which this country was founded. By the way, while I served in the Army, I was spit on by the same type of lunatics who support you and who you probably supported in the 60’s and 70’s. You are an embarrassment to all of us who served so that you would have the protected right of free speech to call us un-American. But at the same time, I have the right to write you to notify you that I consider you to be un-American, as do the majority of the people of this formerly great country. You are a true disgrace to most of the people who served this country by offering themselves for public service in the United States Congress.

I feel certain your aides will not share this letter with you, but I intend to share it with many.

9 TRILLION Dollars Missing from Federal Reserve,Fed Inspector General Can't Explain

Rep. Alan Grayson asks the Federal Reserve Inspector General about the trillions of dollars lent or spent by the Federal Reserve and where it went, and the trillions of off balance sheet obligations. Inspector General Elizabeth Coleman responds that the IG does not know and is not tracking where this money,Fed_Inspector_General_Cant_Explain.html

The following video testimony first appeared in February, 2010 -- it is still pertinent today in light of recent Federal Reserve disclosures.

'T was the month before Christmas
When all through our land,
Not a Christian was praying
Nor taking a stand.
See the PC Police had taken away
The reason for Christmas - no one could say.
The children were told by their schools not to sing
About Shepherds and Wise Men and Angels and things.
It might hurt people's feelings, the teachers would say
December 25th is just a ' Holiday '.
Yet the shoppers were ready with cash, checks and credit
Pushing folks down to the floor just to get it!
CDs from Madonna, an X BOX, an I-Pod
Something was changing, something quite odd!
Retailers promoted Ramadan and Kwanzaa
Hoping to sell books by Franken & Fonda.
As Targets were hanging their trees upside down
At Lowe's the word Christmas - was no where to be found.
At K-Mart and Staples and Penny's and Sears
You won't hear the word Christmas; it won't touch your ears.
Inclusive, sensitive, di-ver-si-ty
Are words that were used to intimidate me.
Now Daschle, Now Darden, Now Sharpton, Wolf Blitzen
On Boxer, on Rather, on Kerry, on Clinton!
At the top of the Senate, there arose such a clatter
To eliminate Jesus, in all public matter.
And we spoke not a word, as they took away our faith
Forbidden to speak of salvation and grace
The true Gift of Christmas was exchanged and discarded
The reason for the season, stopped before it started.
So as you celebrate 'Winter Break' under your 'Dream Tree'
Sipping your Starbucks, listen to me.
Choose your words carefully, choose what you say
not Happy Holiday!
Please, all Christians join together and
wish everyone you meet
Christ is The Reason for the Christ-mas Season!

I'm already dreading the end of my vacation, knowing I will either be groped again or go through the see me naked scanner.  This will be the 6th time in a two months period. I had a full knee replacement that consists of titanium and plastic, and it goes off guaranteed when  I first go through the initial scanner. They ask me "Knee replacement?", apparently a very common occurrence. Still, I get moved to the side to be send to the "groper" or full body scanner. I carry a card from the surgeon, which doesn't help a bit.

There are always extra agents standing around, just waiting for a sucker like me to come through so they can justify their job. This entire security operation seems so inefficient.  I keep wondering why they won't even consider trying out the Israeli system. Another thought came to mind about people like me that have implants, prosthetics etc.  Let us go through a one-time thorough inspection and then provide us with a government certified security card that lets us pass through without the extra searches.  This alone would speed up the lines and make us look more efficient.

Being politically correct and profiling is an issue that needs to be resolved soon.  I sense the American people are becoming more and more agitated with this process.  How did the underwear bomber ever get on the plane last Christmas?  It seems no profiling was done then.

There is more to this as well.  Rand Paul made a good point when he wondered if the TSA agent is homosexual or not.  Today I read an article that stated most agents do not change their rubber gloves after each passenger. Various types of viruses and infectious diseases can now be transmitted through this process.  Doctors have and do change their gloves after each patient, so should the agents.

A fellow blogger made a good point by sending a letter to our respective representatives, asking them to stop this insanity and spend their efforts on a better system.

Please feel free to add your own experience with the TSA in the comment section.  I'd like to hear from you.

IN HONOR OF VETERAN'S DAY - Why I quit... Desert Storm vet explains decision to leave Air Force after 22 years

I never expected to write this letter, but my Mom e-mailed me to get information about my career for a writeup on Veterans Day, and as this is the first such holiday in 22 years when I will not be on active duty, I felt compelled to let you know why I decided to quit.

Quit is a strong word, I know. Everyone I’ve talked to has repeated that I’ve had a marvelous career and that I’ve retired with honor. Maybe that’s true on paper; I guess that it’s reflected by the record. But that’s not how I feel. I feel like I’ve quit. And because I’m not a quitter, I feel I have to explain why — not that anyone is asking, but because perhaps they don’t know to ask.

Briefly, my career had been a representation of the promise of this country. Starting out on the lowest rung of the rank ladder as an F-4G Wild Weasel crew chief, continuing on F-16s and the F-117A Stealth fighter in Desert Storm, then a small part of Desert Fox as a nuclear Maintenance Officer and finally a pilot that took part in numerous deployments in Southern Watch, Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. I finished up an awesome year on the ground in Iraq, and was selected to receive a coveted “Definitely Promote,” assuring me of promotion to lieutenant colonel. They don’t pass out many of those. My dreams were right in front of me. All I had to do was grab them. And then I retired. Why?

Atlas Shrugged.
I had chosen, freely, to place my life between those that would do harm to the U.S. and those whom I would protect: her citizens. I had always believed in the best of America and the people of her lands; that despite occasional missteps there was a general “rightness” to our way. I lived that belief for 22 years, leading and following warriors into combat. I’m certainly no war hero; my brothers in arms have seen far more combat, more intense and personal than I. But I have become acquainted with death in a way that I hope you never do. My last tour, on the ground in Iraq was where my heart started to be hardened towards you, the electorate, and culminated in this letter, written two days before our elections. And here’s why.

Received the following article from a fellow patriot who worked on a campaign in S. Florida.  He's sharing his thoughts on Obama's future which was a subject that had never occured to me.  Is it possible?  Why not, they gave him the Noble Peace Prize.

"The 2010 election not only is history, it made history. The biggest "change" in the house in the last 70 years. But this has not had any effect, noticeable at least, with President Obama. In his typical switch hitting manner, he called on the Republicans to sit down with him to solve the country's problems. Yet, shortly after, he talked with and told them, "We are going to continue to take all the time it takes and all the effort it takes to get out country back on track."

Does he not get the message given to him on Nov. 2nd? He does but it doesn't give him much cause for alarm. He has no concern for he re-election in 2012. He has two lmore years to demolish, still further, the country. He knows he's committing political suicide by remaining a left wing zealot. He knows the fear rising within the elected ranks of Congressional Democrats who will break ranks with The Party in order to stay in office. But BHO doesn't care.

Obama has his sights on a position he considers elevated above that of U.S. President. He will be the next Secretary General of the United Nations. Presently, the term is a five year one, with one term extension. Pan Ki-Moon the present SG, was selected on January 1, 2007. My guess is that BHO will see to it that the confusing selection process will be changed in order for him to move up to this grand position.

He would be king of the world. The Muslim countries would claim him as their "native son." The rest of the Third World would jump for joy. "A finger in the eye to America," they would proclaim. Flying around the world in his desired role as "citizen of the world," he would live in Switzerland, France or wherever he wished. Michelle would shop in the finest European emporiums and order kobe beef in the most elite restaurants, with fresh greens, of course. She was never really proud of her country in the first place and Barack's stated embarrassment with this country's past indicates a happier life away from the greed and intolerance of this land."

If you still have any doubts about the integretiy and honesty of Michigan's 9th district Congressman Gary Peters as well as many of his cronies, especially, the freshmen or "new" democrats, then read this article called: The New Democrats: The Coalition Pharma and Wall Street love:

Gary Peters sits on the House Financial Services Committee...
This segment of the report really implicates him.

Wall Street Reform

When Congress took up Wall Street legislation, the New Democrats saw their first real opening to take the lead on a major legislative effort. Voters across the ideological spectrum had come to view banks as villains, and many politicians feared a populist backlash if they were to take up the cause of the financial-services industry. This included the Blue Dogs, who were reluctant to fight as publicly for the banks as they had fought for health-insurance companies.

In many ways, the New Democrats were uniquely suited to act as emissaries between the finance industry and the Democrat-controlled Congress. Many had backgrounds in the world of finance, and several of their former staffers were lobbying for the banks and insurance conglomerates that were also among the New Democrats' steadiest donors.

The biggest asset, however, was their oversized presence on the House Financial Services Committee, which would draft the legislation. Throughout the reform process, the group held as many as 16 seats, forming the largest nonparty voting bloc on the committee. If enough of them teamed with Republicans, they could strip provisions from the bill or add carve-outs for special constituencies. They take the money from the PACs pretending to be going after wall street, but really are working against their own party line.

More important, they could set the boundaries of the debate behind closed doors by emphasizing the concerns of their allies in the financial-services industry.

Three days after Lehman Brothers collapsed in September 2008, the New Democrats unveiled a financial-reform working group co-chaired by Melissa Bean. The group was piloted by John Michael Gonzalez, Bean's chief of staff, who left four months later to lobby for several banks and financial-services trade groups. Gonzalez would not speak with ProPublica, but a biography posted on his lobbying firm's website says he was a "key player in founding the New Democrat Coalition's task force on regulatory modernization."

The other co-chair of the task force was newly elected Connecticut Rep. Jim Himes [1], who had strong ties to the financial-services industry, as did his chief of staff, Jason Cole. Himes is a former Goldman Sachs banker. Cole, once an aide to New Democrat Dennis Moore [1], had spent several years working alongside former Republican Sen. Gramm as a UBS lobbyist. In that position, Cole maintained his ties to the New Democrats and was listed as attending their 2007 retreat in Maryland on behalf of the Swiss bank.

As the reform effort picked up steam in 2009, the New Democrats' task force functioned as a shadow financial-services committee, holding its own hearings and drafting its own legislation, according to several congressional staffers familiar with the process. The group met with consumer advocates as well as industry representatives. But with the exception of their endorsement of the consumer financial protection agency, most of their positions reflected the concerns of the banks.

When the New Democrats released their reform principles in February 2009, the Washington lobbying offices of the law firm Blank Rome publicly touted [12] the New Democrats’ proposals, adding that the group "may be the moderating force behind financial regulatory reform in Congress."

Steve Bartlett, a former Republican congressman from Texas and current head of the Financial Services Roundtable, an industry lobbying group, described the New Democrats as "awesome."

"They are my favorite group in Congress in the sense of doing the right things for the country," Bartlett said in an interview with ProPublica. "It's a group that is focused on the economy and on the business sector and on the for-profit sector, and I've just found them to be extraordinary and extraordinarily effective."

The New Democrats demonstrated their effectiveness in two ways. The first was in skirmishes over provisions that applied to small sets of companies or industries, similar to the BIO carve-out from the healthcare debate.

The group joined California Republican Rep. John Campbell, a former Saab salesman still collecting rent from several car dealerships, to make sure auto loans would be exempt from regulation by the new consumer protection agency. The Center for Responsible Lending and other consumer groups say car loans, which generate tens of billions a year for auto dealers, are often as risky as the home loans that fueled the financial crash and have been associated with fraud and abuse, particularly for military service members and their families.

But it was the New Democrats’ role in shaping the core components of the Wall Street legislation that really earned them the admiration of the industry and its lobbyists.

In June, the group released one of the earliest congressional proposals to deal with over-the-counter derivatives, the largely unregulated financial products at the heart of the crisis. Financial industry groups praised the legislation, but its author, New Democrat Mike McMahon [1], said their goal was to protect “end-users,” businesses that rely on derivatives to guard against financial instability. McMahon said he didn’t want Congress to “overreact” by placing derivatives on exchanges similar to those where stocks and commodities are traded.

Exchanges, which would set up capital requirements and additional transparency for derivatives transactions, were also heavily opposed by the banks, which made significant sums creating customized derivatives.

“The big issue for the dealers is that they make a lot more money off private contracts, the customized ones, than they do on an exchange,” said Frank Partnoy, a former investment banker and professor of corporate law at the University of California San Diego.

The banks used end users as cover, Partnoy said, because, “you can’t go to Congress and say, ‘oh you’re going to hurt us, and we’re not going to make as much money.’ ”

In early October, Barney Frank, chairman of the Financial Services Committee, released a draft of derivatives-reform legislation. On the official committee press release [13], New Democrats Bean, Crowley and McMahon praised Frank’s bill and touted their involvement in crafting it. Crowley does not sit on the Financial Services Committee.

“I want to thank Chairman Frank for accepting suggestions from the New Democrat Financial Services Task Force in crafting new rules for derivatives trading,” said Michigan New Democrat Gary Peters [1].

Gary Gensler, the head of the Commodities Futures Trading Commission, himself a former Goldman Sachs executive, protested immediately, pointing out that the end-users exemption created a loophole that would allow risky and unregulated derivatives trading.

Frank said he would “sharpen” the language, but the version that emerged from the House was similar to McMahon’s original proposal. Some speculated that Frank gave in to McMahon in exchange for the New Democrats’ support for one of his top priorities, creating a consumer protection agency. Frank declined an interview request from ProPublica.

Ten days after the bank-friendly derivatives draft was released, Joe Crowley and several other New Democrats serving on the Financial Services Committee headed north for a two-day fact-finding and fundraising trip to Wall Street [14]. They met with Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan executives and were given a fundraiser at a supporter’s Manhattan home.

When the group returned to the capital, they embarked on their second major priority, a roundabout way to weaken consumer protections. In their proposal, put forward by Melissa Bean, individual states wouldn’t be allowed to enact stronger consumer protections against national banks than those established by the federal government. Normally federal laws act as a baseline upon which state laws can expand, but this proposal sought the opposite result, putting conservative Democrats and Republicans in the unusual position of fighting against the rights of individual states.

Many state attorneys general strongly opposed the provision, including Lisa Madigan from Bean’s home state of Illinois. And as the bill neared a vote on the House floor, it looked like Bean and the New Democrats would lose this battle.

But Bean had one final ace in the hole—an extreme measure but one almost guaranteed to work: She threatened to use the voting power of the New Democrats to sink the entire financial reform bill if it didn’t include her proposal.

During the final four days of the reform effort in the House, at least 17 New Democrats held 20 fundraisers, according to records maintained by the Sunlight Foundation. Among these events was the December 10 Crowley fundraiser that is now the target of an ethics investigation. Also included was an “evening reception” fundraiser for Melissa Bean on December 9; the event’s invitation prominently advertised her membership on the Financial Services Committee.

Negotiations stretched late into the night on December 11, until a compromise was reached that satisfied the New Democrats. Bean led a negotiating effort that resulted in federal regulators getting the power to throw out individual state regulatory laws after reviewing them on a case-by-case basis. It was a big win that capped a string of victories demonstrating the New Democrats’ ability to get things done.
Thanks to LS and SBK for finding this great piece of info.

This is part of an email that came to me and originated by a current Congressman . People everywhere need to know about this. Gary Peters, the newly reformed spendaholic ran as fast as he could, after all, he's trying to save his job, now that 1000s of his voters jobs are lost.

Dear Friend,

Last week in the middle of the night, Speaker Nancy Pelosi gaveled the official 111th Session of the House of Representatives to a close.

And what a finish it was. In the closing moments the Speaker herself cast the tie-breaking vote for a massive tax increase on working families all across Michigan and a lame duck session of Congress where the Speaker can force through a variety of new taxes, borrowing and spending bills that she failed to pass over the past two years.

Thanks to the Speaker's vote, the average family in Michigan is facing a $1,500 tax increase on January 1, while families in southeast and mid-Michigan are looking at federal income tax bills of $7,000 to $10,00 dollars.

After a session filled with budget busting spending, a health care bill that makes health insurance harder to get and more expensive to keep and an energy bill that intentionally raises your gas and electric bills and sends the money to Wall Street, you would think that Nancy Pelosi and her minions would be happy to finish their term with a massive tax increase, but you would be wrong.

The truth is, buried in the adjournment resolution is a plan to bring the House of Representatives back into session after Election Day, but before the new Congress is sworn in for a "lame-duck" session of Congress where the Speaker can complete her liberal bucket list. On tap for the lame-duck:

Amnesty for illegal immigrants

A new tax increase on small businesses

A new "renewable electricity standard" that will increase your electric bill

New expansions of welfare benefits

Ratification of President Obama's Dangerous Treaty with Russia

I will continue to fight these outrageous proposals. With Election Day closing in on November 2nd, we have a chance to stop Speaker Pelosi's assault on our nation, our constitution, our free-market economy and our national defense. With a strong showing on election day, we can stop the Democrats' plan for a lame duck and provide a conservative, sensible check to their extreme agenda.

Thank you as always for your continued support and friendship. See you on the campaign trail.

Mr. President, You asked for it, Icaucus answered........

Recently President Obama made disparaging remarks about the Tea Parties and grassroots movement. He challenged us to show him how we would fix the economy.
Here is the first answer from the Independence Caucus.

On October 1st, iCaucus (a “Grass Roots” National Citizens organization) has answered this challenge with the release of “Creating Jobs in America… Stimulating Solution #1 from the American Grass Roots”

Here is the link:

This is just the first of a series of open letters to President Obama (and the rest of our out of touch elected officials) that will be released periodically over the next few weeks. Our next open letter will spell out how to fix the broken federal budget process in order to stop the out of control spending spree that Washington has embarked upon.

I just read the entire speech and I was literally blown away.  My only wish is that I could have actually heard him deliver it.  I am not surprised a good conservative like Mike Pence was invited to Hillsdale College, well known for being a very conservative, very private school, to make this speech. It was refined, yet to the point, one knows exactly what he is talking about or who he is referring to without being mean, devisive or otherwise attacking anyone.

Here is one of my favorite paragraphs:  Isn't it amazing, given the great and momentous nature of the office, that those who seek it seldom pause to consider what they are seeking? Rather, unconstrained by principle or reflection, there is a mad rush toward something that, once its powers are seized, the new president can wield as an instrument with which to transform the nation and the people according to his highest aspirations.

I am glad the American Spectator picked it up and posted the entire speech here:

It's happening all over the country.  The first time I noticed it in a small district somewhere here in Michigan, when a Rino was pushed by the GOP to win a special election (Mike Nofs). Shortly after that, we all witnessed the Scozzafava election in NY,  grrrrrrrrr. What's happening in Delaware is beyond belief.  While I personally have my doubt about Ms O'Donnell, I am also of the belief that if the people in her state nominated her, then we have to respect that and support all the conservative candidates as much as we can. The establishment has to come out in full force and do everything in their power to help her along.
Then there is Mrs. Murkowski in Alaska.  Is that what greed and power does to them?  Certainly this is not what we need in Washington right now.  Again, Joe Miller is the one his people nominated, and he most certainly deserved it. So, let's all get behind Joe Miller, too.

The GOP establishment has a long long way to go before they see a dime from this household.  We support our conservative candidates and especially our Icaucus endorsed candidates.  I hope that the GOP gets the message real soon, this country depends on it.

Saturday, September 18, 2010

Icaucus is conducting a virtual fundraiser for all endorsed candidates.  All our candidates are fiscal conservatives that passed our rigorous vetting process. If we truly want to take back the house in November, we all have to pitch in and help these guys get elected, not just with us being volunteers, but we need to fill their coffers.

Therefore I am posting this link for you to download and look over the icaucus candidate guide:

Our Icaucus candidate video. Please note, just a few of our candidates are on this video, for now.

And finally, here is our request to donate to Icaucus.  All monies will be evenly divided between the candidates.  Remember, we are a non-profit, it's  strictly volunteer driven.  Please contribute any amount, whatever you can afford. Then please pass on this link or blog to all your friends and families.

Thank you.

While so many of us are currently involved in one or multiple campaigns, it is easy to lose sight of what is happening around us, or I should say, how the economy is continuing to crumble around us.  As I was just tweeting for my candidate, Rocky Raczkowski,, I came across this article worth reading.  It talks about how bad things are:

The Fallout of Economic Conformity

The logical conclusion of these failed policies is economic stagnation. Here is what massive government spending and taxation has done to our economy:

1.Total government (federal, state, and local) share of the economy has exceeded the tipping point, estimated to be between 15% and 20%, which is the point when it hinders economic growth. Presently total government spending for 2010 is estimated to be about 47% of the economy.

2.Taxation must rise substantially in order to pay for government debt, health and welfare entitlements, and other fixed government costs. The 2010 estimate of federal, state, and local taxes amount to about 30.4% of GDP (about $4.480 trillion).

3.Our total government debt (federal, state, and local) is estimated to be $16.635 trillion for 2010, approximately at 114% of our GDP (2010 E$14.623 trillion). Of total government debt, federal debt is estimated to be $13.787 trillion in 2010.
Continue reading here:
Will a house full of new congressmen change this situation?  I do not think that even if we take control of the house and senate we will see an immediate change.  I would like to hear your opinion.

Glenn Beck: Meet Maurice Strong

By Judi McLeod Thursday, May 13, 2010

Great job on shining the FOX flashlight on man-behind-the-curtain Maurice Strong last night.

You asked for people to send you information on Strong.

While the entire cable network world, thanks largely to The One Thing, now knows that Strong is on the Chicago Carbon Credit Exchange board of directors, it gets worse, much worse.

It’s true that Strong explained that he had only fantasized the end of the world in his now famous interview with a Canadian reporter. Unfortunately for the free world, the fantasy is Strong’s philosophy.

As recently as 2006, speaking from an air conditioned boardroom somewhere in Communist China, Maurice Strong—the same man who would deny air conditioning for you to save the environment—was hatching his latest anti-American initiative.

“Having cashed in his Kyoto credits and having launched his ManyOne Internet project from afar, Strong is back on the international scene, ready or not. With his latest comeback, the elusive Strong is stepping back into the limelight after his alleged links to the UN Oil-forFood scandal took him off the radar screen for more than a year. This comeback sees Strong teaming up in the biz world with George Soros. The deadly duo aims to flood the American market with cheap Chinese-made cars. (Strong & Soros in Business: A Partnership from Hell, CFP, June 15, 2006).

“Strong’s public predictions that China would replace the United States, as world superpower is not happening fast enough. So Strong and President George W. Bush malcontent George Soros are contemplating pouring hundreds of millions into a Communist China automaker that manufactures the “Chery”.”

So Strong and Soros were working on anti-American schemes as far back as 2006.

They had hoped to decimate Ford, Chrysler and GM by flooding the U.S. market with cheapo Cherys on a 2007 deadline.

Well, we now know what happened to the American auto industry in 2009.

But it doesn’t even begin or stop there.

Maurice Strong has almost as much impact on average Americans as the air that they breathe.

All that President Barack Obama is doing to transform America and the Free World over to One World Government begins and ends with one Maurice Strong. Soros is merely the financier.

Here, in his own words, is what Strong wants for the middle class: “It is clear that current lifestyles and consumption patterns of the affluent middle class—involving high meat intake, consumption of large amounts of frozen and convenience foods, use of fossil fuels, appliances, home and work-place air-conditioning, and suburban housing—are not sustainable. A shift is necessary towards lifestyles less geared to environmentally damaging consumption patterns.” (1992 Rio Earth Summit 11).

Strong’s portrayal as a Wizard Oz in a fog of ether was helped along by Canada’s state-owned, liberal and largest television network, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC)l

The CBC 2004 special, The Life and Times of Maurice Strong, features a visit by Strong to former Soviet leader, Mikhail Gorbachev who gives Strong a CBC-described “glass saber full of the same brandy Stalin used to send Winston Churchill every week.”

It was in an admiring way that CBC reporter Ann-Marie MacDonald described Strong as a sort of “cross between Rasputin and Machiavelli.”

You could say that it’s downright Machiavellian how Strong and Gorbachev consorted back in 1997 to replace the Ten Commandments with the UN Earth Charter.

Although it defies belief, their jointly authored Earth Charter is carried around in a wooden chest called the Ark of Hope.

The Ark of Hope is described as a “magnificent large sycamore chest, which was conceived as a visual message of peace, sustainability and concern for the Earth.”

Gilt-covered and lavish in the looks department, the chest carries Temenos Earth masks. The 96” poles of the 200-lb. chest are “unicorn horns which render evil ineffective”.

The Ark carries Gorby’s and Strong’s Earth Charter, an international peoples‘ treaty, need of which was foreseen and initiated at the Strong-led Rio Earth Summit in 1992. At last count, the Ark was being carried into New York classrooms.

Now you know, Glenn why Strong is too busy to write novels. Besides, it must be so much more fun rewriting history.

Lest you think CFP is pulling your leg, this is what Gorbachev has to say about the Earth Charter: “The Ten Commandments are out of date. They will be replaced by the 18 principles of the Earth Charter.”

It is CFP’s belief that the way for The Messiah was cleared for Barack Obama by Maurice Strong and that Louis Farrakhan was right on the money when he said “before he was elected, he (Obama) was selected”.

So how does Maurice Strong get away with it?

By relying on the media-hyped conspiracy theory charges. You know, those rednecks still waiting for the black helicopters.

Meanwhile, when Glenn pulled the curtain back on International Man of Mystery Maurice Strong last night, he hit the motherlode.

As obama sends another future Socialist justice nominee (Kagan) to Capital Hill today, we must use what we can to stop or stall the process. The media will tell you that the Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee are out numbered 12 to 7 and are powerless to stop this nomination. THIS IS NOT TRUE!!!

The Republican members of the committee CAN stop it by using the rules of the committee as established to protect against Republicans (when they were in the majority) from pushing through radical right-wing judge appointees.

For any judge/justice nominee to be moved out of the Senate Judiciary Committee to the full Senate, at least ONE member of the minority party on the committee must vote in the affirmative. We need to have ALL Patriots apply pressure to these seven Senators to stop this totally unqualified nominee from getting a seat on our Highest Court.

We must contact these 7 PUBLIC SERVANTS and let them know that We The People know the rules and will not let them skate on their responsibility to protect and defend our Constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic.

For anyone interested in current events and politics, the races in North and South Carolina are worth watching. There is South Carolina's Alvin Green vs Vic Rawl. Here is an excerpt from Ann Coulter's recent article on this race:

Democrats have decided that Alvin Greene's surprise victory in the South Carolina Democratic senatorial primary must be the result of a Republican dirty trick.

Greene beat Vic Rawl, a former state representative and judge, with a whopping 60 percent of the vote in last Tuesday's primary, despite Greene's having no job, no house, no campaign website, no campaign headquarters -- indeed, no campaign. Other than paying the $10,000 filing fee, Greene seems to have put no effort into the race whatsoever. Continue reading here:
I agree with Ann Coulter, this race is hilarious and it would be a miracle if Greene could beat Jim DeMint. But this will never happen.

Then there is North Carolina. Politics as usual between Bernie Reeves and Bill Randall. Randall, a US Navy veteran and a teaparty candidate, endorsed by Icaucus which means he has proven to be a fiscally conservative constitutional candidate is being hammered by Reeves and his handlers. Bernie Reeves, a former democrat, got into the habit of paying himself a salary from his campaign fund. That is a no-no under the FEC campaign finance laws. Carter Wrenn, Reeves' campaign manager has a long history of campaign violations and race baiting. The local media is currently looking into Reeves' campaign finance. From what I see he is not an honorable man and I wish Bill Randall best of luck in his pursuit.

From the I-Caucus opposition research team:

Carly Fiorina’s ad characterizing Tom Campbell as a wolf in sheep’s clothing has, with the findings of recent days, become the epitome of hypocrisy. Mrs. Fiorina’s ties to the deep left and her position on boards of international organizations promoting ‘global governance’ provide lots of hard evidence that she is in fact that 'demon wolf'. As an example, Carly Fiorina is on the board of the Vital Voices Global Partnership, a very left-wing organization.
According to “Among the many leftist organizations funded by the Arca Foundation are…. Vital Voices Global Partnership” Also listed are The Tides Foundation and ACORN. She is also a board member of the World Economic Forum ( Soros, Andy Stern and Van Jones are contributors to those organizations) and has given talks in that forum pushing ‘social and economic progress’. However, the blatant hypocrisy pales in comparison to the cloaked left-

I was happy to read this article in the Washington Post today because it is mentioning the candidate that I am supporting, Rocky Raczkowski.  But I was also happy to read this, because it is confirming that the number of Tea Party people is still growing.  It was the little guy that helped Obama win his election with small amounts, now it will be the little guy that will help our candidates for the November election.  The more they are ignoring us in Washington, the more little guys will come out of the woodwork and send in small donations, this time to GOP or tea party candidates
Here are some excerpts from the Washington Post article and what Rocky Raczkowski had to say:

In suburban Detroit, for example, 70 percent of the $450,000 raised by Republican House candidate Rocky Raczkowski has come in checks of less than $200.

"We have our own MoveOn dot Rocky," said Raczkowski, who is competing in the GOP primary and hopes to face freshman Democratic Rep. Gary Peters. "These aren't rich people, they are just committed -- and angry."

Raczkowski says auto-industry layoffs in his district have prompted people to do something about politics but denied them the ability to give much money. So they are supporting his campaign platform of small government by giving small bills.

"It's overwhelming," Raczkowski said, recalling a grandmother from Waterford, Mich., who wrote him a check for $5 after he answered her question at a gathering of local "tea party" supporters. "She said, 'I wish I could put more zeros after that, but I'm living on a fixed income.' "

Feel free to read the entire article here: You may have to register to be able to read all of it.

Please note also, that Rocky is a people vetted and people endorsed candidate through the Independence Caucus, You can visit Rocky's website at and offer your help or donate.

Some people tend to believe what the MSM wants them to believe, others have a tendendy to find things out for themselves.  As a member and delegate for the  Independence Caucus,, I like to take advantage of their research team and find out the real scoop about current candidates and incumbents. Fiorina currently holds board of trustee positions at the World Economic Forum, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company and MIT. She also is director at Revolution Health Group and part of the board for Cybertrust
With the early primary approaching in California, people are now watching the race between Fiorina and DeVore.  It  goes without saying that I will support DeVore. He is icaucus endorsed and whatever the far left wants to pin on him is nothing more than typical left behavior.  It is interesting to watch the race between him and Fiorina.  She received the endorsement from Sarah Palin, which really surprised me.  I am a Palin fan, but think this time she didn't do her homework.

Here are some things I recently found on our research team's site:

Fiorina’s interest in the democratic process is apparently newfound.

She has voted in only one out of every four national, state and local elections since registering to vote in 2000 in Santa Clara County.
Fiorina neglected to vote in two presidential primaries, a gubernatorial election, the 2003 recall of Governor Gray Davis and the last election for U.S. Senate.

She is a member of the World Economic Forum. . and the Schwab Foundation.  The World Economic Forum believes that the voice of Labour is important to dynamic dialogue on issues of globalisation, economic justice, transparency and accountability, and ensuring a healthy global financial system. The Forum engages regularly with the Labour Leaders Community, comprised of heads of leading global, regional, national, and industry-specific labour and trade unions around the world. To name some other prominent members of this association and people she associates with are: John Kerry, Al Gore, Valerie Jarett, George Soros, Van Jones and Andy Stern, to name just a few.

Fiorina currently holds board of trustee positions at the World Economic Forum, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company and MIT. She also is director at Revolution Health Group and part of the board for Cybertrust.

I am just a simple homemaker, but it seems to me that belonging to these of kind of organizations does not represent a commonsense constitutional conservative such as we find in Chuck DeVore. Is she a RINO at best?

Please check back here often as I will post more information on Carly Fiorina.

What exactly is social justice? At first sound, it could mean many things.  Social, I consider myself to be social, but haven't really equated that word to "class" or "class of people".  Justice, in my mind has to do with the law or being fair.  But that is not what it really means. American Thinker did a great blog on that.

The term "social justice" is now commonly used by leftist activists, clergy, educators, judges, and politicians to describe the goal they seek to achieve with many of their policies. No precise definition of "social justice" is ever offered by the left. Instead, the term is always used in a vague way -- as if everyone already knows, or should know, what the seemingly well-intentioned phrase "social justice" means.

So, what exactly is "social justice?"

Social justice is the complete economic equality of all members of society. While this may sound like a lofty objective, what it really means is that wealth should be collected by the government and evenly distributed to everyone. In short, social justice is communism. It is rooted in the Marxist idea that the money people make, and the property they own, do not rightfully belong to the people who make the money and own the property.

"On 1/20/2001, GWBush was sworn in as President. On September 11, 2001 George Bush flew planes into the World Trade Center Towers, knocking them down! On the same day, he flew a plane into the side of the Pentagon and another one into the ground in Pennsylvania!! On August 18, 2002 the nefarious Mr. Bush caused Hurrican... Andrew to demolish part of south Florida. He liked that so well that on August 29, 2005, he ushered in Hurricane Katrina. Then in 2006, George Bush burst the housing bubble. This caused depression to descend on the country.

On January 20, 2009, Barack Obama was sworn in as President. Following that date, GW Bush caused further collapses in our economy. Due solely to the amazing action taken by the Barack, he encourage and authorized spending three or four times (depending on your sources) MORE money in the Obama's first year of office than George Bush did in his entire 8 year Presidency. That has resulted in an upswing in the economy of about 3%, and unemployment is down to 9.6%! (Compared to the appox. 5% number that Mr. Bush held.) This downswing in unemployment from the peak of nearly 10% has obviously angered George Bush43 so much that he exploded the Deepwater Horizon oil rig on April 21, 2010!

In other unrelated actions, George W. Bush also caused the entire northern Polar Ice cap to melt, resulting in the deaths of all the Polar Bears in the world (they eat ice, don'tcha know!)

I've got some soon to be Gulf of Missouri property for sale. More than thirty 1 acre lots are available! Order quickly, when these are gone, that will be it!!"
h/t Gale Wisdom

I had found the above on Facebook and had to share it as I've been thinking the same all day, with the oil spill and all.  Notice how the MSM is already protecting the Gangster government from their already too slow action on the oil spills.  Some things never change.

As the primaries are getting closer,  we need to start uniting on single candidates, and not just one, all the ones that have been vetted and endorsed by Icaucus . There are now over 60 nationwide and more are going through the process. Some states have early primaries such as Indiana, Kentucky and North Carolina just to name a few. The importance of uniting behind a single candidate can't be stressed enough and I urge all my readers to pass on this bit of advice if we want to win in November.

For the early May primary in Indiana, please follow and support these excellent candidates:

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Six months after introducing a sweeping climate change bill that flopped in the Senate, Democrat John Kerry is preparing to offer a compromise measure that seeks to reel in reluctant senators.

Kerry, collaborating with Republican Senator Lindsey Graham and independent Senator Joseph Lieberman, might introduce a new bill promoting clean energy early next week, just days before the 40th anniversary of Earth Day, environmental sources said.
Despite Kerry's consistently upbeat assessment of legislative prospects this year, the new bill also faces plenty of hurdles.
On Friday, a new problem potentially arose when U.S. Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens announced his retirement. President Barack Obama said he would move quickly to name a replacement.
That will trigger a Senate confirmation debate that could eat up time -- like the healthcare debate did over the past year -- that otherwise could be spent on the complicated, far-reaching energy and environment bill.
Reacting to the news of Stevens' retirement, Kerry insisted there was time to pass major legislation "and still confirm a new justice."

April 10, 2010 Rocky Raczkowski was married to beautiful Amalia. My husband and I had the honor of attending the wedding. It was beautiful, to say the least. With Amalia now at his side, Rocky is complete. He will make a perfect congressman. I've been supporting Rocky since the day of his announcement speech. That was before he got the well deserved endorsement from the Independence Caucus  See his endorsement here: To learn more about Rocky and to join his campaign or make a donation to the campaign, click here He currently has 2 opponents to beat before the primary. But after that he has to compete with the US Congress' most liberal representative, that voted 95% with his party and has 1.5 Mill in his warchest.  To win this seat will be crucial not only for his district or state, but for the entire country.

Enjoy this beautiful wedding photo.

In the wake of a heightening threat from right-wing extremists, WDETFM,the Detroit public radio station
owned and operated by Wayne StateUniversity, is piloting a thought-provoking,issue-oriented collaboration with four of Metro Detroit’s most-read independent ethnic newspapers: the JewishNews, the Arab-American News, theMichigan Chronicle and Latino. The five media entities have developed a partnership to spotlight the growth of radical right-wing movements in Michigan and nationwide. The partnership’s centerpiece is an enlightening essay by the Southern Poverty LawCenter (SPLC), a Montgomery, Ala.-based nonprofit civil rights organization and one of America’s research authorities in the areas of hate groups, discrimination and exploitation.“The explosive growth of three distinct groups — the Tea Party Movement, the Patriot Movement with the militias as their paramilitary arms, and the nativist anti-immigration movement — has been under way for the past year,” says Mikel Ellcessor, WDET’s general manager.“While these distinct movements have their own animus, there is a well documentedand rising level of extreme rhetoric coming from all three groups. This rhetoric has contributed to an environment that is fostering violence from the extreme right and multiple instances of domestic terrorism.“This editorial project is designed to raise awareness of this issue and to challenge the people of Michigan to ask hard of their politicians and the media,” he added. “Because of Michigan’s unique relationship with the militia ,movement, we encourage every citizen  to understand the ways extreme rhetoriC with violent imagery has permeated our society.”On March 27-30, the FBI arrested nine members of Hutaree, a right-wing extremist group of alleged Christian fanatics hoping to incite an uprising against the U.S.government that would lead to the biblical“end of times,” according to the U.S. Justice Department. The raids were in Michigan,Ohio and Indiana.

As some of you know, I've been occasionally posting about Icaucus, what they are about and the candidates they are endorsing.  Check out icaucus here:

The vetting and endorsing period is almost near the end and we are moving on to the next step:  supporting and helping our endorsed candidates.  Remember Jason Chaffetz from Utah? He's the prime example why this program works, but we need soldiers, lots of soldiers.  Right now, there is an urgency to help support and spread the word about the very soon upcoming early election for Ed Lynch, Florida District 19, a mostly democratic district.  Election date:  April 13. Early voting has already begun. He's a great tea party candidate, endorsed by Icaucus and deserves all of our support. He was on Cavuto's show and Cavuto saw in him another Scott Brown or better. He can be helped with phonebanks, contributions, spreading the word, whatever it takes. Please go to Florida Tea Party and sign up for their phone bank. Make calls for Ed Lynch:
Once you register, you can login at:

Indiana has early primary in May:

Follow these endorsed candidates on twitter and facebook and give them some support as well.  Without giving nationwide help, we will not win this battle.

President Obama's proposal to open vast expanses of American coastlines to oil and natural gas drilling drew criticism from both sides in the drilling debate.

The office of John Kerry, who has staked out a key role shepherding climate legislation, sends over a statement saying that offshore drilling — which Obama announced he’s moving forward on — could help get 60 votes in the Senate for climate change legislation.

Kerry spokesperson Whitney Smith emails:“President Obama once again today reaffirmed his commitment to passing comprehensive energy and climate legislation.

“In the difficult work of putting together a 60 vote coalition to price carbon, Senator Kerry has put aside his own long-time policy objections and been willing to explore potential energy sources off our coasts as part of a suite of alternative solutions. He and his colleagues are committed to find acceptable compromises on onshore and offshore oil and gas exploration, conducted in an environmentally sensitive manner that protects the interests of the coastal states.

“They’ve met with Senators who oppose drilling and those who support it and they’ve worked for months to determine the best solutions.”

Kerry and Senator Lindsey Graham are developing climate change legislation that they hope will attract bipartisan support in the Senate. As the statement above suggests, Kerry believes that drilling could help win over some GOP support for this approach.

But the question remains: Which Republican Senators can be persuaded to support even a “compromise” version of climate change legislation?

Dr. Sam Vaknin is an Israeli psychologist. Dr. Vaknin has written
extensively about narcissism.

Dr. Vaknin States "I must confess I was impressed by Sen.Barack Obama from
the first time I saw him. At first I was excited to see a black candidate.
He looked youthful, spoke well, appeared to be confident - a wholesome presidential package.
I was put off soon, not just because of his shallowness but also because
there was an air of haughtiness in his demeanor that was unsettling.
His posture and his body language were louder than his empty words.
Obama's speeches are unlike any political speech we have heard in
American history. Never a politician in this land had such quasi "religious" impact on
so many people.

The fact that Obama is a total incognito with zero accomplishment,
makes this inexplicable infatuation alarming. Obama is not an ordinary man. He is not a genius.
In fact he is quite ignorant on most important subjects."

Barack Obama is a narcissist.
Dr. Sam Vaknin, the author of the Malignant Self Love believes
"Barack Obama appears to be a narcissist."
Vaknin is a world authority on narcissism.
He understands narcissism and describes the inner mind of a narcissist
like no other person.
When he talks about narcissism everyone listens.

Vaknin says that Obama's language, posture and demeanor,
and the testimonies of his closest,
dearest friends suggest that the Senator is either a narcissist or
he may have narcissistic personality disorder (NPD).
Narcissists project a grandiose but false image of themselves.
Jim Jones, the charismatic leader of People's Temple, the man who led
over 900 of his followers to cheerfully commit mass suicide and even murder
their own children was also a narcissist.
David Koresh, Charles Manson, Joseph Koni, Shoko Asahara, Stalin,
Saddam, Mao,Kim Jong Ill and Adolph Hitler are a few examples of
narcissists of our time..
All these men had a tremendous influence over their fanciers.
They created a personality cult around themselves and with their blazing speeches elevated their admirers, filled their hearts with enthusiasm and
instilled in their minds a new zest for life. They gave them hope!
They promised them the moon, but alas, invariably they brought them to their doom.

When you are a victim of a cult of personality, you don't know it until it is too late..
One determining factor in the development of NPD is childhood abuse.
"Obama's early life was decidedly chaotic and replete with traumatic and
mentally bruising dislocations,"says Vaknin.
"Mixed- race marriages were even less common then.
His parents went through a divorce when he was an infant (two years old).
Obama saw his father only once again, before he died in a car accident.
Then his mother re-married and Obama had to relocate to Indonesia,
a foreign land with a radically foreign culture, to be raised by a step-father.
At the age of ten, he was whisked off to live with his maternal (white) grandparents.
He saw his mother only intermittently in the following few years and then she
vanished from his life in 1979. She died of cancer in 1995."

One must never underestimate the manipulative genius of pathological narcissists.
They project such an imposing personality that it overwhelms those around them.
Charmed by the charisma of the narcissist, people become like clay in his hands.
They cheerfully do his bidding and delight to be at his service..
The narcissist shapes the world around himself and reduces others in his own inverted image.

He creates a cult of personality. His admirers become his co-dependents.
Narcissists have no interest in things that do not help them to reach their personal objective.
They are focused on one thing alone and that is power.
All other issues are meaningless to them and they do not want to waste their precious time on trivialities..
Anything that does not help them is beneath them and do not deserve their attention.

If an issue raised in the Senate does not help Obama in one way or another, he has no interest in it.
The "present" vote is a safe vote. No one can criticize him if things go wrong.
Those issues are unworthy by their very nature because they are not about him.
Obama's election as the first black president of the Harvard Law Reviewed to a contract and advance to write a book about race relations.

The University of Chicago Law School provided him a lot longer than expected and at the end it evolved into, guess what?
His own autobiography! Instead of writing a scholarly paper focusing on race relations, for which he had been paid, Obama could not resist writing about his most sublime self.
He entitled the book Dreams from My Father. Not surprisingly, Adolph Hitler also wrote his own autobiography when he was still a nobody. So did Stalin.

For a narcissist no subject is as important as his own self. Why would he waste his precious time and genius writing about insignificant things when he can write about such an august being as himself?Narcissists are often callous and even ruthless. As the norm, they lack conscience. This is evident from Obama's lack of interest in his own brother who lives on only one dollar per month.
A man who lives in luxury, who takes a private jet to vacation in Hawaii, and who has raised nearly half a billion dollars for his campaign(something unprecedented in history) has no interest in the plight of his own brother.

Why? Because, his brother cannot be used for his ascent to power. A narcissist cares for no one but himself.
This election is like no other in the history of America. The issues are insignificant compared to what is at stake. What can be more dangerous than having a man bereft of conscience, a serial liar, and one who cannot distinguish his fantasies from reality as the leader of the free world?

I hate to sound alarmist, but one is a fool if one is not alarmed. Many politicians are narcissists. They pose no threat to others... They are simply self serving and selfish. Obama evidences symptoms of pathological narcissism, which is different from the run-of-the-mill narcissism of a Richard Nixon or a Bill Clinton for example. To him reality and fantasy are intertwined.

This is a mental health issue, not just a character flaw. Pathological narcissists are dangerous because they look normal and even intelligent. It is this disguise that makes them treacherous. Today the Democrats have placed all their hopes in Obama. But this man could put an end to their party. The great majority of blacks have also decided to vote for Obama. Only a fool does not know that their support for him is racially driven.

This is racism, pure and simple. The downside of this is that if Obama turns out to be the disaster I predict, he will cause widespread resentment among the whites. The blacks are unlikely to give up their support of their man. Cultic mentality is pernicious and unrelenting. They will dig their heads deeper in the sand and blame Obama's detractors of racism. This will cause a backlash among the whites. The white supremacists will take advantage of the discontent and
they will receive widespread support.

I predict that in less than four years, racial tensions will increase to levels never seen since the turbulent 1960's..Obama will set the clock back decades... America is the bastion of freedom. The peace of the world depends on the strength of America, and its weakness translates into the triumph of terrorism and victory of rogue nations. It is no wonder that Ahmadinejad, Hugo Chavez, the Castrists, the Hezbollah, the Hamas, the lawyers of the Guantanamo terrorists and virtually all sworn enemies of America are so thrilled by the prospect of their man in the White House.

America is on the verge of destruction. There is no insanity greater than electing a pathological narcissist as president.  Cops call them Sociopath's.

On 7/22/09 I wrote a blog on Rahm Emanual, Obama and Axelrod called "The Trio that is running the Country".
To get to the point, this is what I knew about Emanual at the time:

"Rahm served 3 terms in the US House and in between was a partner in a Private Equity firm where he quickly earned 16 Million before Clinton appointed him a seat at Freddie Mac. Little is known that the mortgage crises happened on his watch, and for his short stint as director at Freddie Mac he received stock options totaling $ 380,000. The private equity firm in which he was partner merged with another firm in which he is now a quiet partner holding shares. This firm switched from Financial Services to Health Care Services recently. He's a limited partner of that fund, meaning he's invested capital into that group. Additionally, he's actively enabled several private equity and hedge funds access to state pensions for large sums of capital. What do you think he gets in return? Major money. And if Obama's health care bill gets passed, the sky will probably be the limit for him and who else?

Now my suspicion then is confirmed.  This healthcare bill is worse than the Madoff scam, but how to prove it?

This writer, Gerald Warner, from the British Telegraph wrote this excellent article on what is going on here.  It is easy to understand and it makes me wonder how much "face" we are losing in the rest of  the free world. It is clear what Warner is trying to say, mainly that this country made a big big mistake by voting for this guy.
I also agree with him that there appears to be a desire to kill millions of unborn babies.  But why?  At one of the tea parties I met a leader from Joshua's Trail once, and he told me that some in the black communities believe that Obama wants to help reduce the black population, sort of like Hitler did with the Jews. In any case, this is a bad situation and I pray to God for guidance and help.

I grew up with it, nationalized health insurance. Never thought anything bad of it,either, because that is all I knew.  It worked in Germany, it's been in place ever since I can remember.  It is just that, health care.  There is no huge bill that also has provisions for education, funded abortion etc etc.  It is well run and organized, and most people are happy.  Remember, Germany is about the size of Michigan, therefor it is doable.  The US can't even run Medicare/Medicaid or the Post Office properly.  Germany may have nationalized health care, but they don't own and rule their banks or car companies.  What is going on here is entirely different.  We have an administration that wants to "rule", we will have a tyranny.

In Germany they take out 7 or 8 percent out of your paycheck, the employer contributes the same.  That covers your basic health care, doctors, hospitals etc.  One can take out additional private insurance for better hospital rooms (2 person room instead of a ward).

Now, add this 7 percent to your deductions, and for those that make over 250,000, add another 3 percent additional tax to cover the uninsured who will be covered through the public option.  As I am writing this, I realize that Obamacare can't work without the puplic option, no matter how they word it.

Here is a good article I found on German health care, you will realize that this is not what they are proposing here, and therefor it won't work.

We need to keep our free market system, our free health care, and our freedom from too much government.

Wednesday, March 17, 2010

I am shocked, amazed, sad and angry all at once.  I always thought that man had principles and was somewhat fair. But now he gave us a bunch of reasons and explanations why the bill is bad and that he doesn't even like it.  So, he has to vote for it.

We will always have fundamental differences on what is a right and what is a privilege.  But myself and many of you know that health care is NOT a right.  They just think that morally it is a right.  We all have moral differences on one issue or another, but it ends there.  We cannot make moral values a law and ignore the constitution, the backbone and strength of this nation.

The left is working backwards in my opinion.  Let's get back on our feet, let's reduce the tax burden, help get the economy and job market.  This will get people working again.  Then we can focus on helping the truly un-insured by reforming health care through tort reform and insurance reform.

Ultimately, this health care bill is a power grab of the worst kind, sponsored by the likes of  Soros, the SEIU etc, and Obama and his gang are just the puppets whose strings they are pulling.

Let's move on to the few remaining congressman that are still on the fence, I pray they don't all cave.

He can't even be straight with the people.  Did his mother teach him no morales? And why does he think the American people are stupid.  By now he should know that everthing he says and does is being scrutinized.

Dear Fellow Member of Keep America Safe:

This morning, news broke that President Obama's advisers are going to recommend military tribunals for Khalid Sheikh Mohammed. We hope this story is accurate, but we are concerned by reports that this will be part of a deal to close Guantanamo Bay and bring terrorists onto US soil. Guantanamo Bay is a safe, secure, humane facility where terrorists can and should be held. We are happy that President Obama seems to be hearing your voice, but we continue to call on the President to reverse his decision to close the facility.

For months, we have been tracking the story that Attorney General Eric Holder is stonewalling Congress and refusing to disclose key information about DOJ attorneys who represented terrorists. On Tuesday, we released our newest video, "Who Are The Al Qaeda 7?" Finally, in response to pressure from the public and concerned citizens like yourself, DOJ confirmed the identities of the nine lawyers in the Justice Department who worked for terrorists. However, the Justice Department still refuses to disclose whether any of these lawyers are working on detainee issues. Tom Joscelyn, one of our Keep America Safe experts will be writing more about the terrorists these lawyers represented in coming days. His first installment is below.

In other news, reports surfaced this week that a former Guantanamo detainee is leading battles in Afghanistan. This is a glaring example of why we need Guantanamo and exposes Counterterrorism Adviser John Brennan's comments about recidivism as dangerously misguided.

On the floor of the Senate, Republican Jim Bunning of Kentucky just defended the position he's taken that has delayed an extension of jobless benefits for the nation's unemployed and has forced the furlough of about 2,000 federal workers.

Saying that he has blocked votes on the legislation to underscore his opposition to the ongoing growth in federal debt, Bunning read a letter from "Robert in Louisville," who told the senator that even though he hasn't been working regularly in the past two years he supports what Bunning is doing.

"This country is sooner or later going to implode because of the massive amount of debt run up over the past 40 or 50 years," Robert wrote, according to Bunning.

"Why now?" Bunning said he's been asked, regarding his objection to the legislation. "Why not now?"
And, he added, if the Democratic majority and many Republicans want to force action on the legislation, they should use the Senate rules to override his objection.

Update at 2:45 p.m. ET. The Associated Press, in its latest story on what's happening, adds this perspective about Bunning's position:

"Bunning said again Tuesday that he opposed the extension because it would add $10 billion to the budget deficit, and he attacked Democrats for abandoning promises to pay for legislation instead of contributing to a budget deficits projected to hit almost $1.6 trillion this year. Bunning proposes to pay for the extension with unspent money from last year's massive economic recovery package, but (Senate Majority Leader Harry) Reid, D-Nev., objected." (Correction: We had a typo earlier, identifying Reid as R-Nev.)

Update at 2:15 p.m. ET. NPR's David Welna reports for the network's newcast about Republican Sen. Susan Collins' attempt to break the logjam caused by by Bunning. "Until today," David says, "only Senate Democrats had tried bringing up a bill passed last week by the House that would extend the expired benefits." You can hear short clips of Collins and Bunning in David's report:

It seems it wasn't that long ago when parents around the country were outraged watching videos showing youngsters praising Obama in songs.  Remember BARRACK HUSSEIN OBAMA, MMM MMM MMM?  Next I read the the MEA was requiring teachers to read Alinsky's Rules for Radicals.  Now I received this info where Obama will spend our tax dollars to infiltrate Alinsky rules in our elementary schools using High School children.  And Bill O'Reilly says, he does not think Obama is a Socialist?  Pleaaaase!

Organizing Kids for Obama

by Phyllis Schlafly

President Barack Obama's budget has added more than $100 billion of federal taxpayers' money to what is called "education," so that means it will be spent by alumni of the Saul Alinsky school of radical community organizing and/or the Chicago Democratic machine. We're indebted to Pamela Geller of for exposing the shocking use of some of these funds.

Obama is using the public schools to recruit a private army of high-schoolers to "build on the movement that elected President Obama by empowering students across the country to help us bring about our agenda." We now know that Obama's "agenda" is to move the United States into European-style Socialism.

Obama's internet outreach during his campaign, Obama for America, has been renamed Organizing for America (OFA) in order to recruit students to join a cult of Obama and become activists for his goals. Geller discovered that the teacher of an 11th-grade government class in Massillon, Ohio, passed out the sign-up sheet, headed with Obama's "O" logo, asking students to become interns for Organizing for America.

These interns will be given an intensive nine-week training course using comprehensive lesson plans. Assigned readings include Saul Alinsky's notorious Rules for Radicals, Stir It Up: Lessons from Community Organizing and Advocacy by the left-wing activist Rinku Sen, and particular sections of Dreams From My Father dealing with Obama's days as a community organizer in Chicago.

Republican students will be filtered out of the intern program by requiring applicants to answer questions that reveal their politics. One example is, "What one issue facing our country is important to you and why?"

Geller said the purpose of this training to become Alinsky-style community organizers, is "of course, to elect more Democrats." The internship program is specifically geared to get the kids working in the 2010 elections.

The sign-up sheet for Organizing for America starts with this instruction: "Organizing for America, the successor organization to Obama for America, is building on the movement that elected President Obama by empowering students across the country to help us bring about our agenda of change." The application explains that this national internship program is "working to make the change we fought so hard for in 2008 a reality in 2010 and beyond."

This is not the first time Obama has tried to enlist schoolchildren into an Obama cult. Last fall, the instructions mailed to every school by Secretary of Education Arne Duncan added a very political dimension to Obama's speech that was broadcast to public school children on September 8.

Geller explained the extensive political dimension of the new intern program. The OFA student interns will be trained in the goals and language of the left: "anti-war agitation, anti-capitalism, Marx, Lenin, [Bill] Ayers, LGBT agenda promotion, global warming, soft-on-jihad, and illegal immigration."

Another item on OFA's reading list is The New Organizers by Zack Exley. It brags about "an insurgent generation of organizers" inside the Obama campaign that has "almost without anyone noticing ... built the Progressive movement a brand new and potentially durable people's organization, in a dozen states, rooted at the neighborhood level."

The ten-page "National Intern Organizer Curriculum" is very specific in describing the tactics that interns will be taught. It includes these components: "Using Story as an Organizing Tool, Building Relationships and Building Teams, Mobilizing to Win On the Issues (issue advocacy), Health Care Service Project."

Passage of Obamacare is one of this intern project's major goals. The curriculum promises to provide "insight on the strategy and plan behind the health care campaign" and "further motivate them to work on the issue."

The sign-up sheet states that the "purpose" of training these students is "to build community" among the interns and teach them "to be leaders in OFA's organizing work." After all, Barack Obama knows a great deal about being a community organizer; that was his only job before he got into politics.

Job prospects may be bleak for many Americans, but they will be rosy for alumni of Obama's intern program. After the students have been fully trained as Alinsky-style community organizers, they will be eligible for jobs in Senior Corps, AmeriCorps, or Learn and Serve America.
Those three so-called "service" organizations, which annually dole out millions of dollars to left-wing groups, are overseen by the Corporation for National and Community Service. The U.S. Senate just confirmed this Corporation's new chief executive, Patrick Corvington, who was a senior official of the Annie E. Casey Foundation, which has given over a million and a half dollars to the ACORN network of organizations.
