Sometimes it seems they want to make it a black and white issue. It's not. I've never looked at Obama's milk chocolate color and thought, he's black. He's as much white as he is black. I hoped for a leader that would at least lead from the center. So much for that. There are some blacks, well, maybe many, that think they will benefit from this, little do they know that if Obama and the powers behind him that pull his strings succeed, we will all be slaves, and all of us, including blacks will be worse off than before. We are headed into a Marxist ruled globalization. It will make Europe's socialist countries look like paradise.
During his campaign, he encouraged blacks to get up, go to school, clean up their lives, get a job, this sounded promising to me. What happened since then? Obama and his regime are not partial to the black communities, just as Rahm Emanuel and David Axlerod are not into their jewish heritage (shame on them for that). Health Bill HR 3200 is not in favor of keeping older folks alive longer than necessary, it pushes government paid abortions. Get rid of the young and old, get rid of all those that cost too much. Get rid of the undesired, too? Recently I met a couple ministers that host a local talk show called "Joshua's Trail". They represent the black communities in and around Detroit. These two men are amazing. When I referred to them as men of color or African Americans they scolded me and said "we are Americans". I apologized, of course they are, just like I am American. I don't tell people I'm German American, how silly would that be. Joshua's Trail ministers are very much in tune with what's going on and totally see through Obama. Please google them, they are in need of support and they give me hope. The other day I looked up their website myself and after some browsing I came to the conclusion that their biggest complaint with Obama is the abortion issue. They feel he wants to abort too many black babies, do they maybe think he wants to rid us of the black population? Here is an article of interest. Is eugenics at play here? This is the change the American people voted for.See here how they feel
There are more articles on their site that reflects their concern.

The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those
Who are willing to work and give to those who would not.
Thomas Jefferson

When we get piled upon one another in large cities, as in Europe,
We shall become as corrupt as Europe .
Thomas Jefferson

The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.
Thomas Jefferson

The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Thomas Jefferson

and lastly

Thomas Jefferson said in 1802:
'I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.'

We're about to get a National Health Care Plan...
Written by a committee whose head says he doesn't understand it
Passed and signed into law by a Congress and a President who never read it and are exempt from it
Funded and administered by a Treasury Secretary who didn't pay his taxes
Overseen by a Surgeon General who is obese, and
Financed by a country that’s $65 Trillion in debt.
What possibly could go wrong?

August 22nd was a great and fun day. My dear husband accompanied me to his first protest party. The crowds, the signs, the honking of cars coming by - none of that was new to me, but I could tell he was amazed how civil, orderly and polite everyone was. Of course reading all the signs is always fun and often leads to conversations with strangers. We met up also with some friends we knew. But then we noticed that the "opposition" was present also, in very small numbers I have to add. I estimate there were about 2000 protesters and maybe 20 pro Obamacare. It was interesting to see that the signs from the protesters were all homemade, unique, interesting and funny. The anti protester's signs all had light blue backing, were all the same shape and pretty much all said the same thing. Very boring, but what it told me was that they were organized and paid for, compared to us mobsters.

We had several speakers, met with a candidate running for Governor, Mike Bouchard, spent some time with our State Representative Gail Haines, and various other friends. We had an interesting conversation with a gentlemen from Joshua Trail. This was the second time I met a principal from that radio show. Joshua's Trail airs Saturday and Sunday mornings on the AM channel 1400. These guys are amazing. Don't you dare refer to them as African-Americans, no, they are Americans just like you and me. They get it, they understand that the past is past and that we need to move forward, they also get that the country is currently on the wrong course and they are desperately trying to get the message across to their own community. A great bunch of guys and an honor to talk to them. If you get a chance, google Joshua's Trail.
Enjoy the video from this event that I "borrowed" from Dennis Pittman. Thanks, Dennis.

I also keep noticing that there still are so many folks that don't know what is really going on. Often I get asked how do you find out about these tea parties? Or where can I get more information? But at the end of the day, they are supporters of the protesters, we just need to find and educate them.
Finally, just before we were about to leave, an old lady, probably in her 80s, dressed in a frilly dress, donning a lovely yellow flower hat got out of a car, and just before she bounced away I notied that she was on oxygen. What an inspiration, nothing was stopping her to get right in the middle of the action.

This information is cross referenced from the American Libery Alliance.
Most people don’t know this, but Senator Jim DeMint succeeded in passing procedural votes (one by unanimous consent) which bind the Senate to filibuster (60 vote) rules rather than the simple majority requirement of the reconciliation process. Therefore, without Republican complicity and votes, Obama Care would likely be dead in the Senate.

What the negotiating Republican Senators do will determine the end game. The Senators who have the power to see Obama pass or fail are Grassley (IA), Enzi (WY), Snowe (ME), Collins (ME), Graham (SC) and Bennett (UT). These six Senators should stop negotiating a compromise and let this monstrosity die.

So after the Recess Rally, you should take the following action steps:

-Visit, call and email YOUR Rep/Senator
-Call and email the six Senators listed above
-Write letters to your local editor and mention the six Senators
-Post reminders about the six on your Facebook, Twitter and social media profiles
-Post reminders about the six on your blog
-E-mail your friends and family and explain the details about these six Senators
-Contact the RNC/GOP and demand they put pressure on the six Senators

We The People employ these elected Senators. It’s our job to demand they do their jobs and look out for the interest of America.

I consider myself somewhat of an activist, but on a very small scale. There is only so much time to devote yourself to this task, but at the stage we (the US) are in right now, I think we all should be doing something every once in a while. This could be one or two phone calls to a representatives, signing a petition or going to a rally. I do all of the above, but find lately on the various forums that I visit, including Twitter, that most people do just that - tweet and blog. That doesn't accomplish a whole lot and I want to tell them all, get off your bumms (Lexi talk) and do something constructive. Time is running out, we only have August to make a stand, to voice our opinions. I am happy to hear that my son-in-law took our granddaughter to a tea party rally last weekend, that means we are finally getting through there. The battle goes on, who will come onboard next?

Sean Hannity did a great job last night. He posted several clips of townhall meetings around the country and concentrated on the one in Pa with Arlen Spector. A 35 year old mom took the microphone and let Specor have it. You could tell she was nervous at first, but got more courageous as the crowd kept cheering her and she did an awsome job. She finished by saying that this debate is beyond party lines, really has nothing to do with health care, but in the end its about our freedom and government takeovers. She was so real, so passionate that I thought that could be me up there or so many women around the country. Later in the program Sean had Katy Abram on his show for an interview. She told us since the you tube video of the townhall was released, she had already gotten calls on her cell phone calling her a racist. Katy was clearly upset and charged up. I was so proud of her and throughout her interview I was getting teary eyed for the great job she was doing for all of us. She's a great American. We need more like her to get out and spread the message.

Her message was so simple and clear. Hey, Mr. Spector and Mr. Obama are you getting it yet?

I had to post this. This is just too scary. Although I am too young to have known Hitlerjungen (yes, believe it, I'm too young), but I sure know about this. Watch this video, and don't tell me you're not getting goosebumps.
