INTERESTING RACES IN THE CAROLINAS

For anyone interested in current events and politics, the races in North and South Carolina are worth watching. There is South Carolina's Alvin Green vs Vic Rawl. Here is an excerpt from Ann Coulter's recent article on this race:

Democrats have decided that Alvin Greene's surprise victory in the South Carolina Democratic senatorial primary must be the result of a Republican dirty trick.

Greene beat Vic Rawl, a former state representative and judge, with a whopping 60 percent of the vote in last Tuesday's primary, despite Greene's having no job, no house, no campaign website, no campaign headquarters -- indeed, no campaign. Other than paying the $10,000 filing fee, Greene seems to have put no effort into the race whatsoever. Continue reading here: http://tinyurl.com/2db3qsy
I agree with Ann Coulter, this race is hilarious and it would be a miracle if Greene could beat Jim DeMint. But this will never happen.

Then there is North Carolina. Politics as usual between Bernie Reeves and Bill Randall. Randall, a US Navy veteran and a teaparty candidate, endorsed by Icaucus which means he has proven to be a fiscally conservative constitutional candidate is being hammered by Reeves and his handlers. Bernie Reeves, a former democrat, got into the habit of paying himself a salary from his campaign fund. That is a no-no under the FEC campaign finance laws. Carter Wrenn, Reeves' campaign manager has a long history of campaign violations and race baiting. The local media is currently looking into Reeves' campaign finance. From what I see he is not an honorable man and I wish Bill Randall best of luck in his pursuit.

  1. I love the Carolina's-the brouhaha about Nicki Haley's liaisons, Al Green (poor baby)and Bernie Reeves' attacks on Bill Randall. Bernie is a publisher who writes and says nothing. What is an award for Education writing anyhow-a test??? I looked and could not find it. There is just something about Nicki Haley, Jim DeMint and Bill Randall I like. I think the dems must be drinking kool-aid.
